Threat Scenarios

A Threat Scenario describes a high-level threat that could affect a vehicle component or system. It is the root node of the TARA graph: one scenario can be linked to many Threats, many Damage Scenarios (what harm results), and many Attack Paths (how the threat is realized).

List View

Open Libraries → Threat Library. Threat Scenarios is the page the Threat Library opens on.

The table shows each scenario’s Threat Scenario (its title, with the auto-generated TS-xxx reference underneath), Feasibility, Threats (as chips), Damage Scenarios (reference chips), Attack Paths (reference chips), and an Actions column. Click the title to open the detail page.

  • Create: click Add threat scenario in the header. The New Threat Scenario dialog has a required Title plus optional Description, Threat type (the STRIDE categories, picked as chips), Feasibility rating, and Keywords. The reference is auto-generated; there is no reference input.
  • Delete — click the delete icon in the Actions column; a confirmation dialog appears before the scenario is permanently removed.
