VSEC Core
Home Page
The Home page serves as a dashboard for the VSEC applications within your current workspace. With VSEC Test currently being the primary application, the Home page primarily focuses on its features and information.
Workspaces
The VSEC Platform provides secure environments called Workspaces. Your plan decides which features you can use, how many assets and users a workspace holds, and how isolated its data is: shared on Starter, isolated on Team, and dedicated or in your own environment on Enterprise.
Plans are sized by assets: one asset is one root-level asset in Asset Manager, and each asset comes with one test bench. Each workspace has its own subscription, billed monthly.
Starter
Starter is the free plan for one (1) user. It includes:
- Asset Manager with one (1) root-level asset, and Risk Manager with up to 10 risks, including comments and evidence tracking.
- The threat, damage and control libraries.
- One (1) bench, the UDS and XCP Starter Challenge simulation, and CAN and Ethernet test cases.
Starter users work in the shared Starter workspace, where infrastructure and resources are shared among all Starter users.
Team
Team is for teams of up to 20 users, billed per asset for up to 12 assets. On top of Starter, it adds:
- Unlimited risks per asset, with PDF risk reports, version history and an audit log.
- AI features through your own intelligence provider key.
- One bench per asset and three (3) simulations: the UDS and XCP Starter Challenge, the UDS Challenge and PowerPC (MPC5566). See Simulations.
Each Team workspace is isolated: its data is segregated from other customers’ workspaces, hosted by Block Harbor. Subscribe from Billing & Subscription.
Enterprise
Enterprise is for organizations with unlimited users and no limit on assets. On top of Team, it adds single sign-on (SSO), multiple teams with access control, migration and onboarding support, and priority support. AI features run on your own model and infrastructure (Azure, Bedrock, Vertex or on-premises).
Enterprise is deployed one of two ways:
- Dedicated: hosted by Block Harbor on infrastructure reserved for your organization. Nothing is shared with other customers.
- In your environment: VSEC runs in your own cloud account or on your premises, and Block Harbor manages it for you. Billing is arranged with us directly rather than through Billing & Subscription.

Workspace Settings
Workspace admins have access to an additional configuration page for AI Intelligence. Open it from Workspace settings > Intelligence in the Admin Center navigation.
Asset Manager
Asset Manager is the central hub for defining and understanding your product’s asset hierarchy. Use it to organize assets such as vehicles, ECUs, features and components, with structured properties, relationships, and AI-curated context.
Risk Manager
Risk Manager is where security risks are registered, scored, and closed. Risks are usually linked to one or more assets from Asset Manager, and are scored from evidence contributed by VSEC’s other tools: threat modeling (Design), security testing (Test), and vulnerability monitoring (Monitor). Beacon watches across all of them for cross-cutting gaps.
